MBBS in China

In a scenario when Chinese goods are notorious for their lack of reliability and limited life span it is quite natural for anyone to raise the question: Is the quality of Medical Education good in China? Fortunately, the answer to the question is Yes.

For more than a decade the Chinese Government has been advising and instructing Education Departments or Education Commissions of Provinces, Autonomous Regions, and Municipalities to enhance and maintain the quality of teaching and learning, and promote the healthy development of education for international students. Thus, over the years, the number of medical colleges teaching in English and admitting foreign students has steadily increased, and presently the number of MCI approved Medical Universities stand at 45. These medical universities not only have an excellent infrastructure but also have a very heavy patient load. On top of it the cost of medical education and living expenses are much lower than many other countries. In such a scenario it is only natural that some of the Chinese Medical Universities are among the most preferred by foreign students and the seats get filled very early.
